Welcome to the NWI Chapter of SHRM. We are happy that you have chosen to become a member.  Local chapter membership, in conjunction with national SHRM membership, provides the HR professional with extensive networking, programming & professional development opportunities.  Whether you are new to the HR field or have many years of experience, we are a local starting point.  If you are not already, we invite you to become a member of our organization.  Simply click the Membership tab for more information.

Our mission is to be the primary source of Human Resources professional development in Northwest Indiana. To that end, we will enhance abilities and become more effective in the Human Resource field by: 

• Providing professional development opportunities for our  members;
• Delivering quality services and products to our members; and
• Advancing the profession through involvement in SHRM at the local, state and national levels.
