POSITION TITLE: Coordinator, Career Services
REPORTS TO: Director of Human Resources
STATUS: Full Time – Non-Exempt
HOURS: Primarily 8:30 am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday with varying schedules as required to meet the needs of the department.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree w/ related experience
CERTIFICATION: PHR or similar certification preferred
EXPERIENCE: Prior work experience preferred in higher education, recruiting and/or student personnel services or other similar experience
POSITION SUMMARY: The Career Services Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Career Services, including the College’s job posting system; marketing Career Center programs to the student body, graduates and employers; assisting with development of job and work-based learning opportunities; and referring or placing students and graduates in positions. This position is responsible for responding to questions regarding the services provided, evaluating career service needs, and accurate and timely completion of agreements and learning objectives. The Coordinator also administers a grant-funded internship program, EEON, for outstanding students.
