Robert J. Dignam is a Shareholder in the law firm of Johnson and Bell, PC, in Crown Point. The firm also has offices in Chicago and Wheaton, Illinois, and serves clients throughout the country. Mr. Dignam’s practice focuses on employment and labor law matters. He also devotes significant time serving as a civil mediator. He has thirty years of experience counseling and representing private sector and governmental entities in a wide range of legal matters.
Mr. Dignam serves as an adjunct professor at Purdue University Northwest. He has taught courses for the past fifteen years in Personnel Law, Human Resources Management, and Conflict Management. Mr. Dignam has presented at numerous continuing legal education programs on Indiana evidence. He also has presented at seminars on employment law and best practices for monitoring the workplace and resolving conflicts in the workplace, social media in the workplace, the evolving Americans with Disabilities Act, and avoiding claims of sexual harassment.
