Human Resources and Payroll Clerk

 

Restaurant Management Corporation is a family owned franchise that owns and operates 24 locations throughout the Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland area. The organization has been in the McDonald’s business for over 50 years and takes pride in the quality of our operations, our people and our facilities.  We are currently hiring for a full-time HR and Payroll position.

Job Summary:  Provide general clerical support to the Human Resources, Payroll and office staff.  Assist with background checks, unemployment claims, benefit enrollments and other HR related tasks.  Answer the phones and direct callers and visitors accordingly.  Process mailings, assemble binders and perform other routine clerical functions.  Serve as the Payroll backup.

 

Qualifications:  Minimum of 1 year of human resources and payroll experience or equivalent education.  Basic knowledge of excel, word, power point and outlook is required.  Ability to operate 10-key required.  Excellent communication and customer service skills.  Ability to multi-task and handle multiple interruptions.
