Pamela Johnson, BS, CFMP, HHP, AADP, RYT, PTFC

Pamela Johnson is a wellness educator, a board-certified holistic health practitioner and certified functional medicine practitioner. As Working Well’s Employer Health Solutions Manager/ Wellness Champion and Program Developer of the Functional Medicine Clinic in Valparaiso, Pam creates corporate programs that target the root cause of chronic conditions, provides wellness strategic planning and sees patients at the Working Well Clinic in Valparaiso.

Her extensive research and training in holistic health, behavior modification, exercise physiology and yoga is complemented by study in bio-pharmacology in the areas of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and hypertension. This broad base of experience enables her to create programs that meet the needs of a diverse workforce, especially those who would like to reduce the need for medications.

At Franciscan Working Well, she has developed a series of unique holistic wellness education packages supported by a custom portal/mobile app and delivered with passionate presentations. Her training includes postgraduate study at Functional Medicine University, the Integrative Institute of Nutrition, Illinois Benedictine College / Exercise Physiology, specialization in Cardiac Rehabilitation; an undergraduate degree in Communications from Southern Illinois University; Lifestyle Medicine Curriculum from Harvard University Institute of Integrative Medicine; Professional development through Landmark Education; Completion of certification programs through Yoga Alliance, American College of Sports Medicine, Stott Pilates, Neuromuscular Integrative Activity Technique (NIA) and she is a certified personal trainer and fitness counselor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America.
