Gary Eagleton has worked with economically disadvantaged
families/students since 1976 when the Harris County Comprehensive
Employment & Training Administration (CETA) in Texas employed him. He
served as an Employment Counselor, Job Developer, and developed
on-the-job training contracts with employers throughout Harris County,
Texas. If your business, agency, or organization works with people from poverty, only a deeper understanding of their challenges and strengths will help you partner with them to create opportunities for success. Bridges Out of Poverty represents a powerful tool for change. Based in part on Dr. Ruby Payne's myth-shattering “A Framework for Understanding Poverty,” Bridges reaches out to the millions of service providers and businesses whose daily work connects them with the lives of people in poverty.
Luncheon Keynote Speaker - Len Mozzi presents "Dramatically Different Presentations" Backstage Secrets for Onstage Success
Professional Trainer and Consultant, Len Mozzi, combines his 20 years of
experience as a Theater professional with an expertise in training to
provide a unique perspective on Practical Leadership Skills. Len trains and coaches clients in three Leadership Skills – Presentation Skills (leader as communicator), Meeting Skills (leader as facilitator), and Creative Thinking Skills (leader as a problem solver). He holds a Master of Fine Arts from Boston University's School of Theater Arts and was Associate Director of the Cincinnati Playhouse. If you want to be effective, if you want to be believed, you must focus as much on your presentation style as on your presentation’s content. Learn acting and directing techniques that bring out the best in you and your audience and deliver your message with power and punch.
